Through our new initiatives, we are committed to making conscious decisions and taking meaningful actions that drive real change in sustainable practices within the MICE industry. Travel & Carbon Offsets
We are committed to offsetting staff travel and delivering local event infrastructure on a carbon-neutral basis, prioritising emissions reduction across core operations and infrastructure, and compensating for measured unavoidable residual emissions using recognised and independently verified offset mechanisms.

The M&I Expo Green Tick scheme will provide suppliers with the opportunity to demonstrate how they help planners achieve sustainability objectives – whether by offering emissions data for their services, providing guidance on eco-friendly choices, or supporting low-impact event practices. The scheme is designed to highlight commitment to sustainable collaboration, rather than certify suppliers as inherently “sustainable.”
